    I worked at SnapLogic full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Competitive Salary
    Great perks: 100% paid health insurance, in-house lunch several times per week, happy hour every Friday
    Majority of employees are very talented experts in their fields

    Cons

    Very negative, hostile work environment
    While cash comp is good, the company is very stingy with equity and ownership
    Seniority is valued over merit - the company has an extremely high employee churn rate
    Regular rounds of mass firings
    A-List talent doesn't stick around for very long
    Opaque, secretive Exec Team
    Exec Team spends more time in planning meetings than getting things done
    Frequent yelling matches behind closed doors
    Personal agendas and subterfuge are the rule not the exception
    Incompetent and dictatorial top-down management style
    Managers seem like they're always angry and stressed out
    No real opportunity for advancement. Many employees feel stuck in their jobs.

    Advice to Management

    Give your employees respect and encouragement rather than a browbeating; you may see better results.

    - Great talented individuals
    - Happy hour every friday
    - Free lunch twice a week

    Cons

    - No technology leadership
    - No clear direction overall
    - Execution misfiring
    - Cliques and lack of transparency with regards to current state.

    Advice to Management

    Provide a 6/12/18 month roadmap for the company and expose the actual state of the company with all the employees. It's OK to share the truth.
