I worked at Soasta full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I've worked in software sales for over 15 years, mostly with small companies that have gone public or been acquired. My 4.5 years at SOASTA were by far the most enjoyable of my career. The senior leadership team is second to none which is a direct reflection on the CEO and Executive Chairman. There is something special about working at a startup where the top people in the company place treating people well in front of the bottom line. Everything that happens at SOASTA is done with a purpose and done to perfection. The employees, especially the engineering team, put great personal pride into everything they do. If you are good enough and lucky enough to have the opportunity to work at SOASTA, take it.

    Cons

While I truly have nothing negative to say, I would say that managing growth like SOASTA has been experienced can not be easy. Some under qualified people may have slipped through the cracks from time to time (especially in sales), however, there is no place to hide at SOASTA. If you under perform you will be noticed, for all the wrong reasons. If you consider that a negative, don't work here.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you do!

I have been working at Soasta full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The product actually works, its disruptive technology and the company is all about everyone succeeding as a team. Small company feel with big customer names and gaining market recognition.

    Cons

None that I can think of - benefits seemed a bit high out of pocket but improved from last year to this year.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what we are doing!
