I have been working at Société Générale full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Less pressure. Excellent view from office window (London Tower Hill office overlooks Tower Bridge and Tower of London)!!!

Cons

No career development within the organisation. You are basically nobody!!! Pay is below the average market rate. HR non-existent. Sometimes the systems are stupid.

Advice to Management

Create more incentives to the employees, provide internal career development opportunities. Increase (slightly) pay.

I worked at Société Générale full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Some great people - intelligent
Working environment is good - especially at 41 Tower Hill - greta views from the 8th floor too
    Benefits are great

    Cons

Staff are just out for themselves and will stab you in the back first chance they get. Culture came across very French bordering on rqscist in some areas - areas you wold not expect it at all. Senior management looking after themselves - no real support from managers to staff - unless you are French,or white - and if you are both then its hapy days.

    Advice to Management

Improve your diversity and dont let teh French lead you round by the nose.
