I worked at Société Générale full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Good benefits but salary could be better. Excellent training offerings. Most managerial staff seems pleasant and easily approachable. Office space is nice too.

Cons

Little management recognition. Limited opportunity for growth. No company cafeteria or pantry. Bonus pool could be better. Otherwise a nice place to work.

Advice to Management

better bonus rewards

I worked at Société Générale as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Open access to other HR professionals, good collaboration, opportunity to grow and expand your responsibilities.

    Cons

L&D is not fully respected by other parts of the organization, seen more as a support function. Working in the NYC office is sometimes like being a "second class citizen" to Paris HQ, but this is not unusual for a U.S. office of a foreign entity.

    Advice to Management

Listen more, you have a lot of really smart people working there.
