Pros

Upward mobility for those willing to transfer and work hard to prove their worth. Also, typically a Monday-Friday job with limited nights and weekends!

Cons

60 hour work weeks are easy to do on a regular basis to keep ahead.

Advice to Management

There needs to be more district support in audits, safety, finance and HR and less that unit managers are expected to accomplish well and still have a personal life.

    Pros

    Health Insurance, Decent Benefits Package

    Cons

Lack of Managment Support, No personal time what so ever seems like I am always working, Pay does not meet work demands, Management has no respect for the true workers.

    Advice to Management

Most employees get away with murder. While others have to pickup their slack because managment doesn't hold them accountable. Also, If I have to be woke up all hours of the night because other people are incompetant then I should be compensated for it.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Mostly a monday through friday work week. Benefits are good.

    Cons

Many, many. A few are: When a weekend event takes place, at any unit in the area, as a manager, you are considered "free labor" so you have to work without any compensation. The shrinking business segment results in shrinking opportunities. Once you reach a certain level, which is not that high, there is really no where else to go. Because we pay our hourly people so little, it is difficult to keep a full staff. Manager raises occour annually and never exceed a 2% increase. The raises are therefore less than inflation, while insurance rises every year. Not all financial performance information shared with even unit managers.

    Advice to Management

    Grow some balls.
