Pros

it's just like an university, it has a pretty good environment and you can have a lot of friends there but no more. The activities there are overrated, nepotism,

Cons

Not benefits, you are consider an associate not an employee, bad management,

Advice to Management

Been a lead means to really care about people and that includes give them benefits and really give them the opportunity to grow and develop skills

I worked at Softtek full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some projects are interesting and challenging, they are one of the few companies that provide some kind of relocation assistance.

    Cons

Management within the projects is awful, career opportunities are only for manager's close friends, work/life balance is the worst I've seen in my career, none of the benefits established by mexican law is provided

    Advice to Management

Start caring about people, currently they're just objects you see coming and going, you won't get any commitment from them if you don't treat them as people

  2. "My overall experience with softtek is OK, but they could do a lot better to keep their people"

I worked at Softtek full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The money is good, when you sell yourself good when you are hired.
You have opportunities to work in several countries where Softtek has presence

    Cons

Salary increase does not occur often and it's really hard to get one.
Softtek does not pay too much attention to their employees as *people* and their personal needs and interests.

    Advice to Management

People usually leaves Softtek because they cannot negotiate a salary increase with the HR people, as far as I know, Softtek has lost really good people in this way
