I worked at Software Technology Group (UT) full-time

    Pros

The company has hired some great developers who do good work for clients. For the most part they can just go about their business and not be affected by things in the office.

    Cons

Management doesn't 't live up to promises made, especially about doing the "right" thing rather than what is expedient or inexpensive. Consultants are really numbers on a page rather the "friends and family" they are made out to be.

    Advice to Management

Live the values you sell to candidates during the interview.

    Pros

I've never worked for a company who cares more about their employees than STG. They truly care and empower their employees to be an essential part of STG. Not only that, what other company will pay for ongoing training, certifications and allow you to continue to grow your technical/development skills.

    Cons

They don't do enough branding. STG needs more marketing so that more employers and IT talent can learn about STG and the services they provide to companies and the career opportunities they have for potential employees.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what your doing.
