    Pros

Amazing and diverse learning in the presently nascent field of digital marketing in India. Huge responsibilities, which if not taken overwhelmingly, is helpful for gaining individual knowledge.

    Cons

Extreme lack of mamagement structure. No value given to employees. Seemingly friendly work culture where the toxicity comes to form as days pass by. No bridge between Business Development team and the Operations team. Laughable SLAs, deadlines and work pressure to every individual- the work is piled up as long as the person starts to break. Extremely insufficient infrastructure, which is unimaginably cumbersome and... getting increasingly so with the huge influx of new joinees. There's no provision of replacement when employees resign- if 2 people leave a certain team, the number of accounts they were handling are distributed by the rest, which explains why the attrition rate is as dismal. The initiatives taken by the HR to improve work-life balance (after unanimously being coaxed by employees to comment on) is ZERO. Instead, the issue is treated with mockery. To make matters worse, the company is getting desperate to retain employees- with brute force methods such as announcing bogus and far fetched incentive schemes but doubling/tripling of notice period effective from the day of announcement. No respite even on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Pros

    * The people- A lot of smart, hard-working folks and an overall friendly and vibrant group of youngsters. Mostly peers in L1-L2 are helpful and collaborative and willing to go to great lengths to deliver work. *Good place to learn digital marketing on search, social, display channels. Some able people lead these parts of the business. * Some teams provide good learning (comes at a cost, see cons) * Client... interaction opportunities from an early stage, freshers given responsibility too. *No dress code. Informal conversation is encouraged at all levels

    Cons

*TERRIBLE HR Policies. The company does not make PF contributions it is supposed to make. Increments are uneard of. Don't even think of perks/benefits. *There seems to be no urgency to tackle these issues and HR likes to keep everything opaque. *The company has set up many more businesses recently which are separate from the media business. These units are facing issues in terms of staffing and NO APPRAISAL CYCLE... IN PLACE in these businesses. * Middle management is grossly incompetent: Sales people pitch absurd things to clients, managers don't know what to prioritize and what not to. Hence priorities change every 2 hrs and employees end up feeling burnt out and frustrated. * Don't be surprised if someone asks you to do something, you spend time and energy to do it only for it to be arbitrarily scrapped and a new task to be assigned to you. Then you will be asked why your previous task wasn't complete when the new task also turns out fruitless (Yeah ;_;) *Many middle managers can't strategize well, even the "strat managers". Way too many ad-hoc tasks come up for no good reason. Decisions are taken on instinct and as knee-jerk reactions, often under panic. * Work/Life balance is non-existen. Expect to work long nights and burn the midnight oil repeatedly and then be expected at work usual time. Expect to be working on weekends/holidays at times without any extra pay. *WFH policy is getting more restrictive and opaque. Different rules apply to different people. *Infrastructure bursting at the seams. The company is hiring aggressively and doesn't have the infrastructure to accomodate them.

    Advice to Management

Don't say that your people are you best and then take them for granted, even exploit them at times. Invest in your employees and build a stronger vision for the loger term. Address things like benefits, attrition, appraisal cycle parity on priority and hire some efficient experienced managers.
