I worked at Sonos full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Employee discount on Sonos products, great product by the way , as a software engineer I loved working with some of the smartest people around.

    Cons

Bad management, low pay compared to other companies, no social life at Sonos , everyone keeps to themselves

    Advice to Management

    Stop micro managing people

I worked at Sonos as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very good programmer culture; excited by projects but still basically relaxed without the self-made pressure cooker most companies seem to encourage. Little bureaucracy despite their rapid growth.

    Cons

Frequent teleconferencing and remote collaboration. When I left, management seemed to be trying to change the company's culture to "an entertainment company" which most employees felt was doomed to failure and I thought was likely to backfire.
