Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Sony Music Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Passionate people who love music. Great perks and concerts. An unlimited supply of metallic plastic coasters (CDs)

Cons

Executives with big salaries and bigger egos make it a horrible environment to work in. Declining sales and high pressure to sell CDs makes for a high pressure environment.

Advice to Management

Take a management cours. The fish stinks from the head down and you are stinking up the place.

I have been working at Sony Music Entertainment part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Make your own schedule.
Use the company affiliation as leverage.
Access to vast amounts of product, opportunities and potential relationships.
    Hard/extra work pays off.

    Cons

    Lone ranger in your market.
Some priorities may not be your forte, but the show must go on.
Often assumed to be an "intern" or "street team", will often have to work even harder to prove yourself as more than such.

    Advice to Management

Form some sort of incentives that allow highly capable reps access to budgets, in order to produce better quality events and create more awareness, along with a better reputation.
