    Pros

    - small enough for people to know who you are, large enough to have access to good projects with an appropriate level of autonomy - empowerment from management to get the job done - a lot of responsibility and therefore plenty of opportunities to shine and be recognized (If responsibility is not a pro to you, this may not be a fit for you) - be it good or bad, you won’t be ‘just a number’ - open door policy. If you... want to talk to peers or upper management you can do so freely. - great place to get experience and grow your skill set - for the most part coworkers are good to work with - all levels can make impactful contributions - employees have diverse backgrounds. At times a con when certain expertise is needed, but definitely pro as people are encouraged to bring diverse skillsets and think outside the box.

    Cons

    - having to choose which responsibilities to let slide when you want to attack them all. prioritization of work is difficult as every department is lacking headcount - hr is dishonest and causes more harm than good - work/life balance can be poor at times. However some managers reward the extra efforts / they don’t go unnoticed - silos between groups are significant. It’s too bad as they could really compliment and... help one another. - no support to address toxic people in the workplace. if anything, challengers are punished - need better software systems. Many are top of the line but some are are hurdle, too outdated

    Advice to Management

    - Keep providing the tools and opportunities to succeed. - Continue the positive encouragement not matter how big or small - Continue recognition for good work - Gut HR!!Candidates first impressions should be positive ones with people who have a good bedside manner, no exceptions. Employees should not have their benefits unexpectedly altered in ways that significantly harm their livelihood (pay, medical especially... , etc). These behaviors are a liability and will easily end up litigious. Nip in the bud, yesterday! -Stop people with “the earth is flat” mentalities in their tracks. Stop those managers&directors making decisions and conclusions based on feelings and opinions when data and facts exist that show a single answer! It slows progress. This a biotech company not a dance troupe. We only have room for managers with good sense. - Improve regulatory knowledge today. Decisions made now need to set us up for future success!
