No opinion of CEO

Pros

The company offers really good benefits. That's probably one of the best things about working for the company. And there are some great people to work with and some not so great.

Cons

you have to brown nose your way up to the corporate ladder. it's really pathetic. You are not recognized for your skills and abilities. The company is very political.

Advice to Management

Change is imperative for a company to grow and succeed. Employees will not be motivated to lead the way if you fail to recognize their skills and capabilities. Advancement for growth should not be political.

Current Employee - Technical Specialist II in Rosemead, CA
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

The company have excellent benefits and is a good place to spend the rest of your career. The compensation is very competitive although the merit increase (raise) is very slow.

    Cons

There are too many management. you have to go to 6-10 Tiers of management to get to the VP. The higher management basically just attends meetings so that he can pass on the information in the form of another meeting to managers below him. Most managers are not performers but are relay catalysts who just passes the command to lower managers for execution by employees. Communication is one-way and it is very hard to bring a concern forward to upper management.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and do something about their concerns. Get your feet wet by actually observing how a task is accomplished instead of having a set of theorized instructions that does not work in the real world.
