I have been working at Southern California Edison full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Good perks, 401k, pension plan

Because of restructuring in 2012 no bonus and very very very very slow career growth path

Advice to Management

Looks like it is baby boomer's organization. Allow other young people to lead.

I have been working at Southern California Edison full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Resources, Ability to work in a safe environment, Amazing training to keep everyone up to speed with policy changes as well as what is current on the frontline of customer concerns. Call center is a great spot to start your career at SCE as you will learn multiple aspects of every corner of the company.

    Cons

Pressure to work in a fast pace and if you do not keep up you will lose your job. Constantly changing which makes it challenging to keep up with the most current policy change which means a customer can call in several times in a day and potentially hear different things from different people making the job harder than it has to be. Customers yell at you in a somewhat constant basis.

    Advice to Management

Take some calls and do some work on the frontline of customers to stay grounded as to what customers concerns are.
