I worked at Southern Wine & Spirits of America full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Pay, training, good people to work with. If all you want to do is work, then this company is for you.

Cons

Miles drive on car, hours worked, too many meetings. My AM has two a week, online training, tastings, live training, monthly meetings. You cannot have a life at all here. Turnover.

Advice to Management

Give us a break. Put families first and employees will not quit as much.

I have been working at Southern Wine & Spirits of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They have some great people working for them. They offer great benefits...401K, Medical, Dental, Vision and 2 weeks paid Vacation after 6 months. The job is pretty cool given what you are selling. The spirits and wine is fun to sell and of course you are allowed to sample. Meeting with the suppliers has also been fantastic.

    Cons

Great if you enjoy working 50+ hours a week. This really isn't the job for you if a family life is of major concern of yours. They require a new set of paperwork or monthly training every other day and set unrealistic goals inorder to not pay you your monthly bonus. You can work 50+ all you like and never begin to make a dent in the goals. You are always stressed out with an overabundance of accounts to see daily.

    Advice to Management

Figure things out. This is the nation's larget distributor.
