I worked at Southwestern Advantage as a contractor (Less than a year)

Pros

Learned a lot: be independent, communication with different people, sales skills, etc.

Cons

Working hours are long. But if you can do it, what else can't you do?

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Southwestern Advantage part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Learn and establish so many skills that you can use for any career path.
You can earn a good paycheck as well as a week long incentive trip to luxurious destination.
Surround yourself with other motivated, initiative-taking people.

    Cons

    Work long, stressful hours (70-80+).
Have to really be careful with your expenses (because you pay for them all).
No life over the summer except for work.

    Advice to Management

Don't recruit everyone that is willing to do the job.

    Pros

Southwestern does not guarantee your success after college, but it cultivates it within the students that work with them through a challenging summer sales program. There is no better program for those looking for personal growth, tremendous financial gain, and an experience that will pay off in countless ways down the road.

    Cons

Southwestern presents students with a very challenging oppurtunity through the means of direct selling. Consequently, through the challenge a lot of insecurities about one's self come out of the woodwork. It is natural for people to avoid their insecurites and be comfortable, in order to grow and achieve greatness requires working through frustrations.
