Pros

It is pretty low-key and straightforward what one's responsibilities are. The atmosphere is laidback and one can work at his/her own pace.

Cons

The management can be lax and interdepartmental communication is not the greatest. There needs to be more of a cohesive effort and spirit.

Advice to Management

Take some pointers from other companies and actively improve working relationships and not just go with the status quo. Seek out career development and training.
