I worked at Southwestern National Bank part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good place to get your foot in the door for banking operations. The staff is friendly and willing to show you the ropes. Culture is different than your big banks.

    Cons

Compensation can be better. Hours are normal; seems like you can choose to stay late if you have to. Wished there was more get-togethers besides the monthly birthday parties.

    Advice to Management

There's a huge gap between upper management and the common workers; there should be a way to make the commoners feel at ease when upper management is around.

    Pros

Gives opportunity to think outside of box, receive occasional gifts such as pens, shopping bags that promotes "green" environment, calenders etc.

    Cons

offers health insurance benefit, but now dental made an option, just need to pay a few extra dollars for dental

    Advice to Management

Lower pay than average, used to have special events such as dinner night, weekend trips etc. if still offered would be awesome
