I’ve worked at SPANISH FOR FUN! for almost five years and love the positive environment! It’s a place full of teamwork, respect, and care. I started as a teacher and now I’m a Director — a great example of the growth opportunities they offer. Wonderful people, great leadership, and a truly supportive atmosphere!

Pros

Working at Spanish for Fun! has many positive aspects. The children and families are truly wonderful, and most coworkers are warm, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of the kids. The environment can feel very meaningful when everyone works together, and there are opportunities to learn new skills and grow professionally over time. These relationships and experiences are what make the job enjoyable and rewarding.

Cons

Despite the good parts, the job also comes with serious challenges. The pay is extremely low for the current economy and for the amount of responsibility placed on employees. Staffing is often limited to only what is required to meet ratios, which creates additional stress and workload. Management has become inconsistent, and some directors operate very differently, sometimes without offering adequate support to their staff. There is a lack of corporate oversight, organization, and clear communication, and employees don’t have a safe, anonymous system to share feedback about leadership. These issues make the work environment much more difficult than it needs to be.
