Pros

If you are looking for a dead end job working along with a lot of legacy employees who feel so secure about their job that they don't mind creating delays in projects, then this is the place for you. Just work for about 5 years in the design group and you also will become a legacy employee.

Cons

Too many managers who can't get this ompany to become profitable...ever. They expect everyone to work as if the company is a start up, yet the compensation and bonus packages are lame.

Advice to Management

Offer better compnesation packages
get rid of legacy employees that bring overall morale down
Hold all management accountable for the company's success
EXECUTE plans and stop "reorganizing" if you can't accomplish anything

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Work schedule is a con. Its 3 days on and 4 days off and vice versa. In general people are nice and not too pushy.

    Cons

Its been a while since we have had a profit, and so we are understaffed.

    Advice to Management

You need to make a profit and have more company events to bring people together, especially the younger newly graduated employees.

    Pros

Opportunities to expand professional capabilities and to take on more responsibilities as one desire and have ability. Open communication environment. Equal opportunity employer

    Cons

Didn't have good market and business directions under the previous CEO Bertrand Cambou

    Advice to Management

It's too late, Spansion went bankrupt in 2009 under Bertrand Cambou, who mismanaged the company!
