Pros

Pay's not bad but you really have to jump through hoops to earn it.

Cons

Totally incompent ownership. Former CEO embezzled millions of dollars from company. Recently lost a lot of good people.

Advice to Management

Sell the company to someone who knows what they're doing.

I worked at Specialty Restaurants full-time

    Pros

Great co-workers, some members of management were nice to work with. Free food was a nice perk.

    Cons

Favoritism ruined employee morale. All employees were expected to be team players, but if you ever asked a department for help that related to that specific team, you were told to do it yourself. Also, if you managed your time well and finished your tasks, you were looked down upon for leaving work on time.

    Advice to Management

Industry-wide, SRC's reputation is that of a company with a culture that does not reward employees based on merit. Instead, if you want to get promoted, you need to fit a certain physical aesthetic and either be dumb enough not to understand how to do your job or be spineless enough to allow members of management to dictate your actions. If this does not change, then the constant turnover and low morale will continue.

    Pros

The view is a nice one. Coworkers are generally nice. Guests for the most part are relatively easy. So hard to find anything pro...

    Cons

Managers and corporate nepotism. Favoritism is Culture and almost cult like corporate management. Don't dare bring up an idea that would be helpful to the guest experience or do anything to improve morale because you will be driven out.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of the nepotism
