Pros

As a startup you’ll learn useful skills outside of your role sometimes which, luckily in my case, were things I enjoyed. Endless opportunities for growth in both skills and roles, leadership team is very approachable with questions and concerns. Great team to work with. Snacks and weekly lunch provided on top of great benefits.

Cons

Some clearly-defined processes not always followed between departments. While not often, having to remind others of how/when deployments work when the rules have been set does get annoying sometimes.

Pros

- They were willing to teach me everything that I needed to know in order to do my job effectively and were very patient with me while I was learning. - Spoonity truly cares about all employees and their wellbeing. - A fun atmosphere with a close-knit team. I really like that they place a lot of importance on team building! - They really care about the work they do and are constantly striving for improvement and growth. - I learned something new every day and acquired very valuable skills that I will apply throughout the rest of my professional career. I think Spoonity is a fantastic company that treats their employees incredibly well. Everyone works very hard but has a lot of fun doing it!

Cons

As some other reviewers have mentioned, Spoonity is a fast-paced company that works incredibly hard which may be a con for some who are not prepared for this kind of work. That being said, I did not personally feel that this was a negative thing and is actually something that I liked about the company as it gave me many opportunities to learn.

Pros

Working at Spoonity has been a nothing short of a positive experience for me. Everyone at the company is very friendly, which made me feel welcome from the first week that I started. I definitely learned a lot on the job and developed skills that I will carry forward throughout my professional career. Management places an emphasis on team building either through weekly catered lunches every Friday or the occasional activity after work. Something that stood out for me, which I've seldom seen, is that management was quite transparent about the company's financial progress. Being included on this information made me feel like a valued member of the team and that the work I was doing was making tangible contributions to the company's growth. Overall, Spoonity is a great place to work that is rapidly growing.

Cons

Echoing other reviewers before me, I can agree that the work environment can be fairly fast paced at times; however, there was never a time where I felt overwhelmed or that the workload was unmanageable.
