I worked at Sprint full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

First few years were promising with structured coaching and development

Cons

as the market saturated, management tried becoming innovative in their approach, but found that over time when they received a lack of responseness, they created a hostile work environment where more than 75% of staff over the course of 3 years was fired or let go due to some type of primary or secondary metric.

Advice to Management

Learn to manage your staff and take a curve down approach when delivering your message.

I have been working at Sprint full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

As with many large Fortune 100 corporations, it is difficult to stand out. However, when you do the rewards far outweigh those of a small business. Benefits are good to great compared to other corporations in other industries.

    Cons

Again, hard to stand out from the crowd. Years and several opportunities will pass until a promotion occurs. The good and deserving ones wait it out.

  2. "frustrating"

I worked at Sprint full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    discounted rate plans and phones
    decent insurance and 401k options
the job can be very fun playing with new technology all day and showing it to customers
For the amount of work and if you like sales the pay is pretty decent.

    Cons

company is heavily in debt and it shows by the management style and the lofty sales quotas. Angry customers get very frustrated by the lack of organization between the stores and customer service. Customers repeatedly get offered things by customer service or third party locations or vice versa and then go to a corporate store or third party retailer to take advantage only to find out the offer is only valid at one type of location and they were not told about that.

    Advice to Management

focus more making the sales quotas fit the current situation in each market.
