I worked at Sprint full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Sprint was a very good place to work. They are very employee friendly and the benefits are outstanding.

Cons

The company has poured millions of dollars in to the Network over the last 3 years and somehow the it in not improving as quickly as advertised.

Advice to Management

As a company if Sprint is looking towards increasing their Customer Satisfaction Index Scores they have to pull back on outsourcing to other countries. These 3rd party vendor agents very often over promise and under deliver. This constantly creates a negative experience for both the customer and the agent taking the call back on the broken promise.

I worked at Sprint full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The job itself wasn't bad if you like dealing with the public. The money is right for the amount of work you do.

    Cons

There is no real clear path for advancement. It quickly became a let's promote our friends club. In the district most of the people who are promoted were some of the friends of the district manager and store managers.

    Advice to Management

Don't be a back office manager.

I worked at Sprint full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I loved working at Sprint because I was allowed to work from home a few days a week. Their Paid Time Off was very good. The management understood family needs and allowed us to leave early on the day prior to a holiday.

    Cons

Often worked long "on call" periods where I went without much sleep for a week at a time. Occasionally had supervisors that knew little about what my job responsibilities or my work load.

    Advice to Management

Be open and honest with you employees. Let them have the opportunity to vent when stressed.
