There are lots of interesting jobs, and the managers/partners generally listen to you when you ask to be put on a specific type of engagement that is interesting to you.     The annual bonus is based off billable hours, and some engagements have very small budgets, so it is sometimes difficult to meet the billable hour targets.

    Advice to Management

    Keep listening to employees and trying to improve. Take a look at the bonus structure, and see how it stacks up to other firms in the industry.

    401k match needs improvement. They say 25% of $4000. Just say $1k match.

    Each year the company throws a Firm Trip around May for an after busy season celebration.

    Cons

    Since they’ve grown through mergers and acquisitions the company structure and support is shaky at best. Processes between different offices vary and nothing is standardized. The HR Manager/CFO hires her family and doesn’t take into consideration the actual people that will be affected as long as she “wins”.
