    Positive Outlook

I worked at St. Giles International part-time

    Pros

Fun atmosphere with the choice to either follow scripted activities or to really get creative and make your own. Centre managers tend to be relaxed, helpful and friendly.

    Cons

Head management seems to be set in their ways. There seems to be poor communication and transparency between the centres and the national office.

    Advice to Management

Form trusting relationships with centre managers in order to create better upwards feedback.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at St. Giles International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I felt fairly supported as a new teacher, friendly staff room environment, lots of resources, can generally turn down extra hours if it's too much for you to handle.

    Cons

New teachers cannot remain there for more than a year and do not get contracts, also hours are not fixed so sometimes during winter it was a bit of a worry whether there would be enough hours to feed myself. The pay was just about liveable as a start out teacher... it does go up per year of experience though.

    Advice to Management

Find a better way to run the extra afternoon classes, it always felt messy to me and unstructured with this one topic a week business and lack of text book
