Pros

Standard Register is a flexible company that is willing to work with employees. There are many opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the company. Standard register is undergoing a transformation in a changing industry. They are taking up the challenge to grow into new markets.

Cons

As transformation occurs you need to stay in the know, and not be left behind.

    Pros

    Benefits are decent. Co-workers are enjoyable.

    Cons

    We are in a constant do more with less enviroment, that constantly asks for you to still perform like you were multiple people. There is very little growth in terms of moving upward in the company. The different divisions do not communicate in any shape or form. Be prepared to have pieces of what you need to work with. The only software the company has ever purchased in full was Office. There are so many disseparate systems that sometimes will talk to each other and sometimes they just don't. Most people being brought into the company have no background in what the companies products are and don't know how to handle the customer service or internal needs that go along with that product.

    Advice to Management

    This company can't be fixed by hiring outside consultants, and buying software, it needs a full top down reorganization and consolidation.

    Pros

    Could be a great company like it was if the board would change management at the top

    Cons

    Joe Morgan has ruined this company and until he is removed the company will fail

    Advice to Management

    Start realizing that you are printing company
