I worked at Starbucks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They work well with school schedules, regular raises, benefits for part-timers too, and opportunity for advancement if you want it. You also get stock options!! Starbucks pays close attention to employee training, and gives plenty of learning opportunities.

    Cons

All of the same cons that you'd experience in any other customer service job. Tough customers sometimes, little power when it comes to dealing with said uncooperative customers, lots of heavy lifting if you are on the morning shift receiving orders. Get ready for early mornings.

    Advice to Management

Allow for commission earnings on retail sales! You're already tracking who sells how much of each retail item!
