I worked at Starbucks full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They have benefits even for part time partners and there are some amazing people working for the company that do make you enjoy your time there

    Cons

There is limited or no room for growth unless you play an extremely politicized game. I know this takes place in many companies but it was so bad at times that numerous people could complain about harassment from a manager and they were not removed or even seriously reprimanded.
It was like being told to deal with it and if you ever spoke out against a questionable policy, you would not be promoted

    Advice to Management

Listen to your workers. Take their claims seriously and stop relying on the person-ability of employees and worry more about their business minded skill-set. A person who is great with numbers and cost control is better in the long run than someone that acts a yes man to senior management
