I have been working at Starbucks part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to meet really awesome regular customers from all walks of life, work in a dynamic group setting and learn how to give great customer service. Also, the offer benefits to part time employees, employee discounts, free pound of coffee every week, free drinks during your shift, and tuition reimbursement. Easy to move up if you work hard.

    Cons

Honestly, underpaid. Although they pay about 15 cents over minimum wage, you are paid standardized wages for customized service (Above and beyond). If only they paid like in n out! Grumpy customers and 4am shifts are also a downside. Customer needs come before employee needs.

    Advice to Management

Be as employee focused as you are customer focused.
