I worked at Starbucks part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Good pay, great raises, they treat their employees really well. Plus, you get to know a lot of your customers, and they're often really nice people. And on top of it all, perhaps most importantly, they have REALLY great benefits for part time employees. I was shocked.

Cons

Terrible music a lot of the time, and if you're like me you'll get over your love of coffee. Plus, whenever I left I'd always smell like coffee...it gets in your hair, your clothes, your skin...yeah. That gets old fast.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work

Health insurance and that's about it

    Cons

Management gets all perks, managers hold back employees, outside hires too frequently

I have been working at Starbucks full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good medical benefits including vision and dental.
You get a free pound of coffee once a week, and up to five free drinks a shift.

    Cons

Management is totally unreasonable. They want you to be a perpetually smiling robot.
The work is extremely repetitive. If you come to a point where you should be promoted, and you're not, it's just boring.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to explain things without sounding condescending.
    Be more reasonable.
