Cons

On the plus, the store was always clean. On the minus, I was always the cleaner.

I have been working at Starbucks part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Customers come first, but employees are valued at a close second. Also, there's a great work/home separation: baristas, at least, are never asked to work off the clock.

    Cons

Starbucks corporate tries to enforce values, but treatment of employees (and of customers) will vary depending on the store manager. Make sure you pick the right one for you.

    Advice to Management

Make the packaging of cold cup lids color-coded. Seriously.

  2. "Good company for the most part."

    Pros

Stock options for part time employees. Eligible for health benefits if you average 20 hours weekly. Usually have pretty flexible hours.

    Cons

Starting pay is around $7.50. Early mornings and some stores will have late closings.
