I have been working at Starbucks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

High-paced, energetic atmosphere. Morning rush will burn 1000 calories. Free drinks and customers are awesome. Good benefits and career opportunities. Good teammates and atmosphere for the most part. Starbucks, overall, is awesome.

    Cons

Overlook in our area creates a near tyrannical situation. Since we are the only Starbucks in the whole UP, it's hard to get the DM's attention if something isn't right. Management is a little over-the-top with ex-military expectations and impossible to meet demands. Hardest part of job is always working with new hires and training people in because of the insane turn-over rate.

    Advice to Management

When you have that high of a turn-over rate and that many investigations launched against one person, it might be worthwhile to look into it. Since we're the only store in a relatively large region, our sales are always going to be good, there is no where else to go! Take a break from pushing sales goals and take a look at why you've trained in 15 new hires in the last 6 months.
