    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Starbucks full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - fun work environment
    - job stability
    - benefits and 401k
    - free pound of coffee a week
    - regular customers

    Cons

    - zero work/life balance for managers
    - too many cuts at a store level to achieve results and expecations
    - managers are hourly partners 90% of the time
    - huge gap in senior leadership and what really happens in the stores
    - not about it's partners anymore it's all about the money
    - zero development opportunities after SM

    Advice to Management

Please take a look at what is really happening in your stores. Step out of your offices and work in the field. Understand what your partners are really going through. Instead of cutting labor and partners in the store, scale back at the SSC level and build more man power where the money is made. I have been with Starbucks for over a decade and it breaks my heart that senior leadership still preaches that it is about the employees and staff yet they have no idea what we experience every day.

    Cons

Like every other company out there, I wish it would focus less on pleasing "wall street"
