Approves of CEO

I have been working at Starcom USA full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Excellent career growth and development opportunities; committed and hard-working leadership; best accounts in the business; strong training programs; good tools and systems; truly pushing the envelope and doing cutting-edge work. People work hard, but there truly is balance and support for people "having a life" outside of work.

Cons

The IT support stinks. There sometimes seems to be more financial driven decision making than talent driven. That being said, still seems better than most competitors in this industry.

Advice to Management

It's all about the talent.

    Cons

    - one slip could cost you your job
    - LONG hours

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

big agency hence there's large clients, which gives you more negotiating power

    Cons

obviously dynamics really depends on the management of that team, but from what i've seen there's a lot of politics. you can talk & BS your way into a promotion. there isn't an emphasis on people development...i mean at all! there are smart people, but really frustrating to see people having to manage their bosses.

    Advice to Management

to take employee feedback seriously. people don't leave when they're satisfied with their job and feel like their reasonable needs and requests like switching clients/job function are met and/or promptly addressed
