No opinion of CEO

Pros

Great opportunity.
Research Leads are helping and care about you and you're project.
Free coffee and snacks
Laid back environment

Cons

Sometimes, you run out of things to do. This is due to the fact that sometimes management overestimates the difficulty/time demand of your project.

Advice to Management

Have the analysts consult with the interns more. Other than that, I don't really have any advice. Keep doing what you do.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

State Farm loves to train its employees and keep them on the cutting edge of the market.

    Cons

The upper echelon at State Farm is very greedy. THis includes agents. The annual salary is very small when you consider the hours put in the job and the stress related to all of the agency's pressure to sell more.

    Advice to Management

Pay employees what they are worth.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Very good benefits, decent salary compared to some, great schedule flexability

    Cons

Although State Farm, being the huge company that it is, has a lot of places and positions you can transition to, promotions and transfers are given based on your "friendship" with management. If they like you on a personal level, you are sure to move up. Gossiping is a constant with supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Focus on developing your employees based on their abilities not on whether they disclose they personal life to you.
