I worked at State Street full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of dead end entry level jobs. Just be careful about hanging around too long - you might get stuck there.

    Cons

Unit I joined got outsourced to a third world country. State Street has just begun this process - they are going to send lots of their work overseas in the years ahead.

    Pros

You could get lucky and end up on a team worth working with and earn new fiends.
    Pay is decent.

    Cons

    oh, so many cons...
    Management sucks/ bipolar management
    Boring job
    Not appreciated
Definitely not an environment for young workers
Everybody tries to get in your business and then go cubicle to cubicle gossiping
Could not walk to the restroom without feeling watched

    Advice to Management

Make employees feel more like humans and show your gratitude for their hard work instead of setting up "assembly lines" and demoralizing them.
