I have been working at State Street full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

- Great mentors available within company
- Flexible and friendly work enviornment

Cons

- Low starting salary
- As with all big companies, bottleneck structure (advancement just as much up to timing as it is about performance)

Advice to Management

Increase starting salary. Hard to live off initial income

    Great place to kick off your career right out college.
    The name "State Street Corp" looks awesome on your resume
    Good work environment, very laid back
    Decent benefit package
    Very good Work/Life balance especially Work from Home

    Cons

    Very very low pay (underpaid)
    Promotion is impossible unless you're well connected
    Very low education requirements
    No recognition from management.
    Redundant tasks

    Advice to Management

    Management have no clue what is going on. Very poor management skills and low enthusiasm
