Pros

Adequate compensation scale, and descent working conditions.

Cons

High turnover, mostly all employees are miserable on the job, and workforce has no communication up the chain eventhough they work hard to have a global inclusion atmosphere.

    I have been working at State Street full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Interview process not hard. Can easily get into to get financial service experience. 35-45 hr work week a norm.

    Cons

    Every position and promotion you are under paid. Salary is definitely not competitive for the industry.

    Advice to Management

    Realize talent, and make steps to keep them in the company. One of the highest turnover rates in the industry.

    Pros

    You can take a 2-hour lunch every day.
    You have very little work and can surf the web all day.
    Good benefits and vacation time.
    People think the State Street name is impressive.

    Cons

    Every single person hates the fact that they work here and it shows. You will not make friends or have fun here.
    Every day is gray, boring, and you will feel your job is meaningless. This job provides no fulfillment.
    The work is way too easy.

    Advice to Management

    Try reach out to lower level employees. Keep them happy, try to satisfy them a bit.
