I worked at State Street as an intern (More than a year)

Pros

Great company atmosphere. Everyone is extremely nice.

Cons

Very low pay for entry level positions. Work load is too much for such little pay.

I worked at State Street full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company to start your career at an entry-level position.

    Cons

The company is too big, so you're just a number. No room to quickly grow within the company.

    Advice to Management

I'd rather not. I believe that I just got unlucky with the managers that I had to work for.

I have been working at State Street full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Ok benefits, organized, a job, open for change

    Cons

No or minimal raises, cut bonuses even if company is doing good, killing motivation

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your employees, just focusing on outsourcing will get you cheap work but kill creativity that you need in changing environment.
Why do you have performance review if managers tell employees that they are told to rate everyone at 3?
Buying back shares means you do not focus on growth but on increasing share value with minimal work.
