I worked at State Street full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Good place to start out of college. You will gain the corporate experience and work young colleagues. There is opportunity for growth depending on your group. Good place for stable work

Cons

Poor work and life balance. Salary is low unless you keep climbing the ladder. In most case, you need to go internal interview for promotion. Very busy due to high turn over rate.

I have been working at State Street as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

No pros, good for 18-21 year olds

    Cons

longs hours, managers yell and scream, they don't want to pay over time, keep changing the over time rules so they don't have to pay no, you barely get to eat lunch or take coffee breaks. they train their friends and who they want to promote. They are outsourcing big time sending everything to Syntel and HCL in India.
