I have been working at State of North Carolina full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, good vacation time (three weeks), and at least in my position, a great boss. Very understanding if you need half a day for a personal matter, etc.

    Cons

Low starting pay for someone with a law degree. After a few years, the pay hasn't really increased much, and there is no sign of any big increase on the horizon.

    Advice to Management

Regular schedule for pay increases to keep people in this job. Otherwise, will continue to have problems with people leaving after a few years for better pay.
