Pros

Stable, secure position with some flexibility with scheduling. Hybrid work is nice. Good benefits and retirement. Great colleagues overall. Good mission to support.

Cons

Take a lot of time for a decision to be made. Risk averse culture. Management can end up spending a lot of time trying to improve employee performance in people who, in private, would just be cut loose. Some managers are invested in employee growth while others have little interest and would likely prefer the employee to stay where they are for selfish reasons.
