I have been working at Stefanini full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Windows if you sit in the front of the building

Cons

You come here to grind for 8 hours and that's it. Someone has to quit or die to advance

Advice to Management

Complacency kills, so switch it up. Also stop forcing Non-Compete agreements when the agent brings more skill than what is required.

I have been working at Stefanini full-time

    Pros

A good place to get some "IT" related skills for your resume. They have some well known and respectable clients.

    Cons

Low pay only nets low skilled workers, poor executive leadership, employee morale needs work. I think executives see agents as stats and dollar signs only. Most projects suffer some quality issues and high turnover because of the low wages. There is no project training standard. I was hoping when Stefanini bought TechTeam, that we would see significant changes. Sadly, the only real change seems to be the name on the building.

    Advice to Management

Service Delivery Managers and TL's - Relax. Respect your team. Communicate. Make the environment a little more fun. The agents aren't robots.

I worked at Stefanini as a contractor (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They are pretty much in every single geographic region, offering quality work. They do allow intra-company transfers as long as you prove that your skills are good enough. In the US they have fairly good benefits, in Brazil you must work as a contractor for them rather than a regular employee so you do not get the full benefits you are entitled to.

    Cons

Extremely cheap on everything. When travelling they will put on the cheapest possible hotel with the cheapest possible transportation. Their compensation is really low compared to the market because they bill back to the client. Example: If you get a $40/hr contract, they will most likely bill the client at $120/hr. Clients hire Stefanini to save money, not to pay more than a regular employee.

    Advice to Management

Try to invest more in your home grown talent and stop being so cheap.
