Pros

Very good balance for work and study. Management understands that you are a student and never put work before your books

Cons

Sometimes get boring, pay not so great

Advice to Management

Put in place proper training for new hires or at least brief step for every trainer to follow

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Ability to learn many job functions at once. Pay was significantly higher than most residential life positions. Great staff at that time. Budgets were good so professional development was always an option.

    Cons

Senior management was horrible. There was no direction from the top down and it became frustrating and made the position unbearable. Several of my colleagues and I left within a 2 month period (5 out of 7). Very high school mindset and no loyalty among professionals.

    Advice to Management

Get a real vision and ACTUALLY ARTICULATE IT PROPERLY and you will see better results and fewer layoffs/people leaving
