I have been working at Stream Global Services full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The training has been good thus far. I've only been there a week. lol

Cons

The pay is not great, and as far as I've seen the benefits are way too expensive.

Advice to Management

Seeing as you are a very large company, reuce the cost of benefits, and increase the pay.

I have been working at Stream Global Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits - dental, medical, eye, 401K. Steady work. Overtime offered regularly. Great location. Flexible scheduling works for you (if you do well). Advancement is common if you are proven to excel. Training is very good. Some managers make you feel like they care and make coming to work fun.

    Cons

Pay/bonuses/pay-for-performance - For the work and standards the company holds their employees to the pay needs to improve. The company wants to make you believe that you are a valued employee by giving selected people a maximum $200 bonus before taxes. There have been no raises for two years. Pay is sub-par when you could be making more somewhere else doing the same thing. Unfair sick time off (even if you are literally too sick to work you may have an occurrence if there is no voluntary time off available or if you aren't favored by your team manager), constant tools/programs/network issues make your work/meeting company goals harder. Some managers make you feel like they just don't care and make coming to work a let down.

    Advice to Management

Make your employees happier by offering better pay and/or bonuses. No more contests. Be more fair to employees needs; if someone is sick, then let them go home without an attendance occurrence. No more favoritism.

I have been working at Stream Global Services full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Exposure to global enterprise, experience in multi-cultural business, and plenty of experience to gain and learn.

    Cons

Uncertainty. Lack of processes. There has been so much change in the executive management in the past several years that has resulted in a huge turnover at all levels of management, much of it arguably caused by cronyism. This has driven a perpetual sense of being "laid off" at any given time - many colleagues have left and many more continue to search for other opportunities, obviously exhausted from the uncertainty of their jobs. Effective processes continue to be a challenge.

    Advice to Management

    Live by your brand.
