Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Summit Catering Colorado Springs full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

If you need the money.

Cons

Negative reinforcement, intimidation, and constant beratement are the management styles. Even when the company was recognized in the local papers, the Chef did not pass along these positive words to the kitchen staff. The kitchen is fly infested. Basic food handling procedures are not followed. Chef and Sous chef rule by threat and intimidation.

Advice to Management

Do not recommend this job for kitchen workers.

I worked at Summit Catering Colorado Springs part-time

    Pros

Fun place to work.....lots of young people (aka high schoolers) working the catered events and events at the Rodeo Center

    Cons

Low pay and very spotty on being asked to work. Also if you're asked, its usually pretty short notice
