    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Suncor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some very good people working here, but are limited by the politics and by the way things have been done for the past 10 years.
I believe the culture will change with the new management team, but it will take another 5 years at the minimum to change direction and attitudes of how things are done at Suncor

    Cons

Promoting people who are not qualified for positions and no recourse to correcting the situation. Suncor does have a MOR ( Manager once removed....talk to your managers immediate supervisor) , but the feedback you provide does go back to your immediate supervisor, that makes the situation even worse.. The MOR is a joke!

    Advice to Management

Have the guts to act as the owners and not be intimidated by the "need" for contractors.
