    I worked at Suncor

    Pros

This company definitely offers a laid-back culture, which may be a bad thing if you are a driven motivated person. There are opportunities for students to learn only if they go looking for these opportunities. The staff there is definitely smart and know their stuff. I did find a lot of "lazy" employees, as well as ones that really wanted to work.

    Cons

No promise of full-time position after internship, unlike other oil companies. You also have to live in Fort McMurray to get some of the more interesting positions.
