Pros

When I first started working for Sunetric the company was home to the most talented people in the Hawaiian solar industry.

Cons

Ethics are very important. Unfortunately Alex Tiller and Aaron Kirk came up with a marketing campaign called "Sunetric's Got You Covered". Aaron Kirk stood up in the middle of a sales meeting and told us "since the state tax credits for solar are not going to be as good next year tell the homeowners we have access to a secret pool of federal monies. Tell the homeowners we will make up the difference between what they would have paid in for a 2013 install vrs the new 2014 pricing. In reality they switched to a sub-contractor business model, reduced the quality up on the roof and slashed the commissions for the sales force to make up this difference. I resigned shortly there after and shortly after I left the rest of the talent followed.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Poor relations with local employees from a distant management team. Focus was on high upfront payments for projects but stingy when it came time to install time. Company quality went downhill after acquisition.
