Pros

it is a great place for training

Cons

too much work & low salary. very unreasonable with the payroll for staffing in retail. no extra budget for new hire training.

Advice to Management

it's always great to bring positive energy to staff especially to the sales people because they are the ones that brings in the bread and butter. give reasonable salary to managers and give extra budget for payroll especially for new hire training and floor set hours. this would give more hours to the sales floor.

    Pros

Swarovski cares about their associates, successes are ALWAYS acknowledged and rewarded. They have a clear and proven system for training and accountability for associates. Their benefits are great!

    Cons

No clear path for personal or professional growth. The management training program is abbreviated (its only a week long). Corporate support is limited to HR, Payroll, and accounting, IT, maintenance and LP still needs to be ironed out. Payroll is based on dollars and not % business.

    Advice to Management

There is always a lot going on so have to be organized and plan ahead. There isn't always a lot of support.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

    - down time
    - still runned by the Swarovski family
    - some great people
    - great pay for a part time retail job

    Cons

    - management won't always teach you how to do things (like stuff on register or how to remover fixtures) then get mad at you.
    - some employees will steal your sales even though we're paid a flat hourly rate
    - it can be hard to get bouns, even if your like $2,000 over your daily sales goal, if you dont make you dpt goal forget about bouns.

    Advice to Management

rethink a new plan for bouns for the employees
